EASCG – The European ATM
Standards Coordination Group

Building the most efficient and environmentally friendly sky to fly in the world requires the modernisation of the European ATM infrastructure. To ensure a coordinated and harmonised implementation of the required ATM-related functionalities, it is essential to ensure that the necessary standards are available, in a timely fashion. There is an increased need for new standards arising from the deployment of SESAR, the transition to performance-based regulation, and the ATM/ANS Conformity Assessment Framework.

The parties involved in the planning and development of ATM-related standards have therefore agreed between themselves to establish the European ATM Standards Coordination Group (EASCG) in order to coordinate all relevant standardisation activities.
